When guitarist and vocalist Rick Hauchman from North Carolina, USA, settled in Copenhagen, it didn’t take long before he had infiltrated the bluegrass scene in the Danish capital. He quickly identified his likeminded brothers who remained at the bluegrass jams well after closing time.
Not too much time passed before these night meetings culminated in the band Lowlife Brotherhood. The group is made up of 2 Danes, 2 Swedes, and an American with roots in different genres such as old time, Danish and Irish folk music, all share a love for the bluegrass genre, and not least the hard-hitting soundscape from 60s and 70s bluegrass. Combined with more modern material, self-written music and a very good band, these boys can play. Rick Hauchman- Guitar, Vox, Lars Hansen- Bass, Vox, Anton Lindström- Mandolin, Johan Malmberg- Banjo, Vox, Daniel Olsson- Dobro.
